| CHARLES HUNTER (TSU) - A former All-OVC Tight End at Tennessee State University, Charles Hunter was named as the Minor League Football News’ Offensive Coordinator Of The Year in the South Region for the 2005 season. Coach Hunter took over as Head Coach of the Nashville Storm midway in the 2007 season. Since taking over as the Nashville Storm’s Head Coach, Coach Hunter has compiled a W-L record of 33-4. | SHAWN MALONE (TSU) - One of the most productive RBs in Nashville prep history at Antioch High School, Shawn Malone was the TSSAA MVP in 1986 and the Metro area MVP in both 1986 and 1987. | TIMMIE CLARDY (MTSU) - A FB/LB at Antioch High School, Coach Clardy was also a TSSAA Wrestling Quarter-Finalist. Coach Clardy played for 4 years at MTSU for legendary Head Coach Boots Donnelly, including playing for MTSU’s 1985 OVC Championship team. | CHAUNCEY SMILEY (MTSU) - Chauncey Smiley, a CB/TB at MTSU in the 1980’s, was also a sprinter on MTSU’s track team, and was offered free agent workouts by both the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. Coach Smiley has over 15 years of experience as a sports performance trainer and has worked with Olympians, NFL players, and numerous Division I and II college football players. GLENN YOUNG (VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY) - Glenn Young, starting DE and QB sack leader on Coach Woody Widenhofer’s nationally ranked Vanderbilt defensive units in 1996-97, later was a member of the 1999 Super Bowl Champion St Louis Rams team, and also played in NFL Europe and the Arena Football League. In addition, Glenn played for one year in the NAFL for the Mountain Empire Warriors. |
